I was brought on this project during the final stages of its production. Tyler, the editor, composer and grader (phew!) found me on Upwork and asked if I would help with the post-sound stage, to have the film ready for theatrical release. Common As Red Hair is a film about a child who struggles to adapt to societal norms surrounding sex and gender. After a funeral of a family relative the parents reminisce childhood memories and whether their decisions during the child's upbringing were the right decisions...
It is a warm, funny and beautiful story. Robbie Robertson wrote a brilliant script and everyone involved did an amazing job executing the film from start to finish. It was a pleasure to be a part of this journey.
